PhD in Development Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva (Supervisor: Professor Jean Louis Arcand).
My research interests span the fields of Economic History and Development Economics. I am particularly intersted in Colonial History, Education, Conflicts and Inequalities. I focus especially on North Africa and Subsaharan Africa.
I hold a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Geneva and a Master degree in International Economics from the Graduate Institute. I worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the Center for Global Development and the Forum Tunisien pour les Droits Economiques et Sociaux .
I am currently working as Junior Economist (STC) at the World Bank, providing a mix of direct technical assistance and analytical support to government counterparts in Tunisia to help them design and implement a selected range of reforms.
